Hammered gold, white and orange spinners tipped with a leech has been working good this week in the sand in 24’-29’ of water. Anglers have also been using some worms and minnows too but it seems leeches have started to take the edge. Areas outside of Pine Island, Zippel Bay and several areas in northern Traverse have been good spots. Water temperature is currently 71 degrees.
