Summer is here! Summer kicked off this weekend and boy has the fishing been good! Check out some of the pictures of the week.
Anglers are having the best luck for walleyes in the sand 18’-26’ jigging with a jig and minnow or spinner and an ounce or two sinkers. A Lake of the Woods standby, gold has been working well. Worms and leeches are starting to hit too. Lots of healthy sized walleyes have been nibbling 20”+ as well as plenty for the frying pan. Water level has come up a few inches since opener but still remains low. It was a warm week in the 70’s and 80’s the past week. Water temperature has heated up 8 degrees to 68 right now. Check out the forecast for the week ahead.
